Survived by wife, Mary Evelyn "Mev"; children, Matthew Mielke, Daniel (Morganne Kaster) Mielke; brother, John Mielke; step-mother, Mary Alice Mielke. Active member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Teacher with the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, State of Ohio. Avid Boston Celtics Fan. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Worthington United Methodist Church. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2007 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Burial Flint Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Worthington United Methodist Church, Make a Wish Foundation, or HomeReach Hospice in his memory.
