SMERKER Forest Ruth Smerker, age 67 of Columbus, died peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Longtime member of Maize Manor UMC. Survived by husband of 46 years, Kenneth Smerker; son, Scott Smerker; daughters, Kimberley Smerker and Jennifer (Chad) Roberts; granddaughters, Courtney and Kaitlyn Roberts; brother, Clayton Werner; sister, Roxanne DeVries; nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 11a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Maize Manor UMC, 3901 Maize Rd., Columbus, OH 43224, where the family will be receiving visitors from 10 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Gloria Brooks officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions be made to the American Heart Assoc. in Forest's memory.
