James "Scott" Waters, 57, passed away on September 18, 2020. He was born in Zanesville, OH on October 16, 1962. He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Waters, step-father, Charles O. Paxson, niece, Mia Noel Paxson, granddaughter, Hailey Cannaday. Surviving family includes loving wife, Janice, children, Herman (Margaret) Applewhite, Catherine (James) Hammett, grandchildren, Courtney, Ceanna, Audrey, Colton, mother, Irene June Paxson, brother, Douglas (Sandy) Paxson, nephew, Bret Paxson. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Newcomer, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH. A funeral service will begin at 11am, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Flint Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
