Obituary

CLIFFORD Mary S. Clifford, age 67, of Worthington, died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the Ohio State University Medical Center. Mary was a graduate of Fairmont College, Fairmont, West Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Clifford; children, Theresa (Jack) Book, of Dublin, John (Amy) Clifford, of Worthington, Donald (Andrea) Clifford, of Hilliard and Daniel (Cindi) Clifford of Hilliard; sister, Margie (Lester) Sherman, of Braceville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary was a member and Past-President of Leisure-Blackston Post #239, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Director of Girls State for many years. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Women of the Moose, Worthington Moose Lodge #1427. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington (614)885-4006. The Rev. Donald P. Clifford, officiating. Interment Flint Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
