Abner Eli Pinney, age 71, formerly of 515 High Street, Worthington, Thursday, Wesley Glen Health Center. Retired Vice President and Resident Manager for Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home and Crematory. Survived by wife, Letta V. Pinney; son, and daughter-in-law, Abner N. and Bonnie Pinney; grandson, Michael Abner Pinney; sister, Mrs. Ida Oyler, St. Petersburg, Fla. Member of Worthington United Presbyterian Church, member Session of Worthington United Presbyterian Church, New England Lodge No. 4 F&AM, Scioto Consistory AASR, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Horace Wright Chapter RAM, Worthington Historical Society, Center Ohio, and National Funeral Directors Association, Trustee at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Funeral services 1 p.m. Sunday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Masonic services 8 p.m. Saturday. Contributions may be made to the Worthington United Presbyterian Church, Columbus Cancer Clinic, or the Shrine Burns Institute.
