Obituary

Alma W. Jones (Hiser), age 74, formerly of Worthington, February 27, 1997 at her residence. She was born in Stoke-On-Trent, England. Retired after 18 years service with the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission. Attended Brookshire United Methodist Church. Member of Transatlantic Brides club and Hilltop Kiwanikwe. Survived by husband Robert; daughters, Marilyn May and Kathryn Rasure, both ob Texas; and son, Paul Hiser of Colorado; brother Maurice Whittaker; and sister Rita Andrino; three grandchildren, Brent, Jennifer, and Renne. Funeral service, 1:00 p.m. Monday Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, where friends may call 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Ray Wiblin officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family suggest contributions be made to hilltop Kiwanis Scholarship Fund, Box 44161, Columbus, OHio 43204 or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
