Alyce M. Maddox, age 84, of Columbus, died Tuesday, March 12, 1996, Riverside Hospital. Retired Practical Burial Footwear after 66 years service. Member and Past Matron Worthington Chapter #287 Order Eastern Star, LOS Thea Court #5 Class of Charlotte Schoemaker. Past Masters Lady's Unit. Survived by husband, Alfred D. Maddox Jr.; brother, Elmer (Wanda) Hoffner of Westerville and Jack Maddox of Galloway; many other niece and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service Thursday 10:30 a.m., March 14, 1996, Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, (1/2 mile S. of I-270), where friends may call Wednesday 6-9 p.m. and Thursday 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Richard G. Westinghouse officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. OES service 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Family requests to the omission of flowers, with contributions to the Shrine Burn Unit in her memory.
