Arthur J. Wessel, age 82, of Columbus, Saturday, January 3, 1998 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Veteran U.S. Army, WW II. Retired after 25 years of service from G.A.F./Ansco Film Co., and was also retired from Prudential Life Insurance Co. Survived by wife of 55 years, Marjorie and daughter, Pamela Wessel, both of Columbus; brother-in-law Charles (Jennifer) Parnell of N.C., nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church where he was Head Usher for over 30 years and served faithfully on various committees for the church. Funeral Service 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 1998 ar The Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High St. Worthington. Rev. Alan Sippel officiating. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High ST. Worthington. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
