Betty Jayne (Bucy) Lane, age 78, of Worthington, Wednesday, October 21, 1998 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Survived by husband, James E. Lane; children, Betty Jayne (Roger) Vorherr, Roberta Lee (Fredrick) Fisher, James Benton (Trel) Lane; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert S. (Carol) Bucy. Member Meadow Park Church of God, Worthington Chapter DAR, Worthington Woman's Club, Worthington Historical Society, former member Worthington Thrift Shop. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 1998, at Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Rd. Columbus. Pastor Robert I. Mathis and James R. Cook officiating. Family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St. Worthington. Burial later. Contributions may be made to Meadow Park Church of God in memory of Betty Lane.
