Obituary

Charles J. Collet, age 90, of Columbus, Sunday, March 1, 1987, riverside Methodist Hospital. Employed by Stitt Sparkplug Co. for 46 years, where he was secretary/treasurer. He has been retired for 21 years. He is survived by wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Collet; a sister, Dr. Grace Collet of Columbus; a brother, Leslie (Les) Collet of Indianapolis, Ind.; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Marjen (Bud) Collet, Oct. 1985. He was a WWI veteran. He was a member of World War Tanks Corps Assoc. where he was past national commander form 1976 to 1978. He was also a member of Masons and Shriners. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
