Charles A. Peters, age 80, Thursday, February 24, 1994 at Franklin Woods Nursing Home. Retired truck driver for Cut Rate Flowers, U.S. Army veteran, WWII. Member of V.F.W. #495. Preceded in death by Rebecca Ash. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Richard King; step-children, Harold and Rosemary Dutton, John and Karen Ash, Dorothy and Jim Pickard of Calif., Harold and Estell Ash, Tessie and Bud Gray of Calif., Betty Frye of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; grandchildren, Robin Marie Brown, Richard Douglas King, Michael Eugene King; numerous step-grandchildren. Friends may call at Jerry Spears, 2693 W. Broad Street, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Maynard officiating.
