David Patrick Sweeney, age 74, of Columbus, Tuesday, May 28, 1991 at home. Retired U.S. Post Office. Veteran WWI U.S. Navy (Sea Bees). Member of American Legion Worthington Post #239, Veterans of Foreign Wars-Ohio Governors Post #356, Shamrock Club, Aquinas Alumni Assoc. Preceded in death by brothers, William, Robert and Thomas Sweeney. Survived by wife, Martha, Columbus; sisters, Florence Ann (Arthur) Miller and Mary Vincent, both of Columbus, Eloise Fellows, Dayton; sister-in-law, Margaret Sweeney, Lima, Ohio. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, 1991 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Family will receive friends at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, with Prayer service 8:00 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
