Obituary

HERRITT Drew Herritt, age 92, of Worthington passed away Tuesday March 8, 2011, at St. Ann's Hospital. Drew was a wonderful father, grandfather, friend, and proud owner of Herritt's Auto Service. A veteran of the Army, he served in England during WWII. Drew was an avid fisherman who loved to take fishing trips to Lake Erie. He is preceded in death by his first wife Bernadean, his second wife Jeanne, brothers Sherman, Jim, Robert, and John, sisters Ruth, Laura, Jane, Mary, Billie and Jeanette. He is survived by children, Linda Herritt of Brooklyn, NY, Lou Herritt of Missoula, MT, Larry Herritt of Worthington, Thomas Chalfant and David Chalfant of Columbus; brother, Jack; sisters, Patricia, Marilyn, Margaret and Shirley; grandchildren, Benjamin, Whitney, Marina, Blaise, Isabella, Thomas, David, Kami, Tami and Scott. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington. Graveside Service 11 a.m. Saturday, at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 5561 Milton Ave, Worthington, OH 43085. Interment with military honors to follow.
