Garland Hoge Gerald, age 65, of Lake ridge Island, Ohio, formerly of 191 Rosslyn Ave. Died Friday at Doctors' Hospital. Furniture salesman for the Glick Furniture Co. Survived by wife, Mildred M.; daughters, Mrs. Norman (Carolyn) Smith, Marysville, Ohio, Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Wozniak, Sterling, Mich., Mrs. Diane L. Ward, Columbus, Mrs. Richard (Pamela) Gregg, Worthington; 12 grandchildren; brother, John D. Gerald, Columbus; sisters, Mrs. Waverly (Geraldine) Mayton, Washington, D.C., Mrs. Leonard (Virginia) Bruno, Lynworth; several nieces and nephews. Member of York Lodge No. 563 F&AM, Columbus Commandery No. 69, Knights Templar. Service 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Burial, Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends received at Rutherford's 7-9 pm. Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Masonic services 8 p.m. Monday.
