Smith Gary R. Smith, age 59, of Worthington, died suddenly Friday, March 15, 2013 at home. Preceded in death by father Robert H. Smith. Survived by mother, Frances; sister, Patti and brother-in-law and best friend, Harold McEowen; niece, Cassie (Wade) Smith; great-niece, Abbi; sons, Matthew (Emily) Smith and Mark Smith; faithful canine companion, Nicki. Veteran U.S. Marine Corp and U.S. Army. Attended Worthington High School. Funeral Service with Pastor Stephen P. Kuehl officiating, 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of choice .
