Harriet Torrey Evatt, age 91, of Columbus, Thursday, November 24, 1983 at home. Noted artist and author of numerous childrens books, short stories and poems. Member of the Ohioana Society and St. John's Episcopal Church in Worthington. Survived by sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Wilms; nephew, Dr. John Wilms. Preceded in death by husband, William S. Evatt. Private family service. No calling hours. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to St. John's Episcopal Church, Worthington or the Cat Welfare Association.
