Helvia Ellen Mackey (Maki), age 80, of Worthington, Wednesday, July 3, 1996, Manor Care Nursing Home, Westerville. Preceded in death by husbands, Joseph Soond and John Maki. Survived by son, Douglas Sand of Worthington; sisters, Faye Jacobson, Thelma Ruohonen and brother, Wayne (Vienna) Mackey, all of Dunedin, Fla.; sister-in-law, Julia Mackey of Westminster, Calif.; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E. Stanton Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43214, where Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 1996. Rev. Frederick Wiese officiating. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Contribution may be made to the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, in her memory.
