Obituary

Severance Hugh "Skeet" Duane Severance, born in Shawnee, Ohio on August 17, 1927; passed on April 12, 2016 at the age of 88. He is preceded in death by his parents Theodore R. Severance and Edna P. Boyles, brothers Don, Dick, Ronnie and Tom, his wife Ruth and son Michael. Surviving him is his brother, Bill; children, Sandy, Vickie and Greg; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Skeet worked as the Used Car Manager at Maxton Chevrolet for many years until becoming the owner of Palmer's Beverage Center and passing the gauntlet over to his son, Michael, when he retired. Graveside service will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. A gathering for family and close friends will follow immediately at the family home after the service.
