Obituary

Jane Linn Williams Lacey, 96, lifelong resident of Worthington, passed Thursday, July 6, 2017. Jane was preceded in death by beloved husband, C. Eugene Lacey; parents, Allen and Helen Williams; daughter, Melinda Houfek and grandson, Thomas B. Lacey. Jane is survived by children, Thomas Lacey and Janene (Kurt) Paulus; grandchildren, Richard (Audra) Lacey, Robert (Crystal) Chrisman III, Chelsea (Brett) Cobb, Nathanael Paulus, Kelsey (Patrick) Esber and several great grandchildren. Jane was a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron and Omicron Nu, home economics honorary societies and Mirrors. She taught in Columbus Public Schools, was a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was a member of the DAR. Jane was an intelligent woman who enjoyed collecting antiques and loved to travel. Jane will be sadly missed by family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 1 pm to 2pm with a service to follow at 2 pm at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 Hight St, Worthington, Ohio.
