Jane Grimm Minton, age 91 years, of Worthington, Ohio passed away September 20, 2025, at Kingston Residence of Marion in Marion, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents; Thelma Jayne Grimm, and Harold John Grimm, husband; Harvey Steiger Minton, son; Harvey Randall Minton and brothers-in-law; Dr. John Peter Minton and Michael Fredrick Paul. Survived by daughter; Jennifer Thelma Minton, sisters-in-law; Janice Gurney Minton, and Helen Ann Minton Paul, nieces; Cathryn Minton Green (Jeffrey), Elizabeth Minton Myers (Brian), Cynthia Minton Gwilliams (Kevin), and Christina Minton Hall (Timothy), nephews; Roger Minton Paul and Jeffrey Fredrick Paul, and other nieces and nephews.
Graduate of Bexley High School in 1952 and Ohio State University in 1956. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church. Wife of previous Mayor of Worthington, Harvey Minton. Secretary of Minton and Associates Law Firm. Teacher at Bexley High School. Art Docent at Toledo Museum of Art, Corning Glass Museum, The Rockwell Museum, Columbus Museum of Art, The Kappa Kappa Gamma Heritage Museum, and the Orange Johnson House Museum. Member of Worthington Historical Society and Worthington Dance Club. Member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, Beta Nu Chapter, in Kappa Mother’s Club, Kappa House Board, and a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Heritage Museum. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter CU and a member of the Sonata of the The Columbus Symphony.
Family will receive friends from 3-7 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, October 2, 2025, at The Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St., Worthington, Ohio. Interment to follow funeral service at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
