Obituary

WOLFE John Charles Wolfe, age 79, died November 10, 2000 at the V.A. Hospital in Chillicothe, Oh. He was a veteran of U.S. Army, WW II and was awarded the Bronze Star and was a past Commander of Camp Chase Post #98 American Legion. Preceded in death by his parents Harry C. and Henrietta Wolfe. Survived by sons, Darrell E., David E. and Major Dwight E. Wolfe; grandchildren, Chantel Wolfe Barnes of New Bedford, Mass., Danielle E. Wolfe and Daniel E. Wolfe, both of Columbus; sister, Mary Jane Blackford; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service 1 p.m. Tuesday at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday. Pastor Paul E. Baumer officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
