John E. Burt, age 65, 4690 Glendon Road, Monday, August 29, 1977, St. Anthony Hospital. Member of Maize Road Baptist Church, Linden Lodge, No. 637 F&AM, Scioto Consistory, Scottish Rite. Retired, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local, 189. Survived by wife, Ressa B. Burt; son, Robert E. Burt, Cincinnati; 3 grandchildren; brother Frank C. Burt, Brunswick; sister, Mrs. Floyd (Coleen) Watts, Zanesville, Ohio. Friends may call at the SOUTHWICK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N. High St., Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be from the Memorial Chapel, 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Rev. E. D.. Havner officiating. Masonic services 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
