Obituary

John Fenis (Fen) Burwell Jr., age 95, of Kilbourne Ave., Thursday, at home after a short illness. Native of Columbus. Retired from Westerville School System. Charter member of the Minerva Park United Brethren Church. Member of Woodmen of the World for 76 years. Preceded in death by sons, Carl and Ernest, daughter, Mildred Timson. Survived by wife, Wilda (Alexander) Burwell whom he was married for 73 years; daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Ray Barrow, Columbus, Thelma and Harold Hard, Westerville; Mary and Bill herder, Jo Ann and Robert Smith, all of Columbus, Bernadine and Gene Williams, Westerville; daughter, Betty Homer, Columbus; sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Marna Burwell, Galena, Oh.; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
