John J. Meyer, age 63, of 162 Wilson Drive, Monday, Sarasota, Fla. Retired real estate developer and builder. Survived by wife, Genevieve; son, John F. Meyer, Worthington; daughter, Mrs. John (Patricia) Purcell, Jacksonville, Fla.; 4 grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Charlotte Meyer; sister, Mrs. Carl (Betty) Weber, both of Torrence, Calif.; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Member Worthington United Presbyterian Church, Brookside Country Club, Palm Aire West Country Club, Sarasota, Fla. He was one of the original founders of the Cardinal Boosters. Past president of Swiminc. Veteran of WWII. Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Charles Robinson officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
