HIGGS John S. Higgs, age 93, of Columbus, Friday, January 20, 2012, after a short illness. Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Peggy. Survived by children, Terri (Don) Souders, John (Til) Higgs; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jim) Miller, Matt (Amanda) Souders, Ryan Higgs and Katy (Brian) Kibbe; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Mikaela. Retired from US Air Force, DCSC and the Civil Service Administration. Avid sports fan. Funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Oh. where friends may call 5-7 p.m. Tuesday. Burial of urn 1 p.m. Friday, at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Columbus Honor Flight, 2185 Ridgecliff Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221.
