Obituary

Karen Hendley, age 64 of Worthington, Ohio died at Sunrise of Dublin assisted living facility, on Oct. 30 at 8:00pm. A number of health issues came to a head, as she departed from us.
Karen Hendley was born in Columbus, Ohio, November 24,1953. She graduated from Thomas Worthington High School and afterward, received her Bachelor’s degree in special education. She had a heart for individuals with special needs, and later went on to own and operate “Concepts in Community living,” a group home facility for the elderly, mentally disabled.
Preceding Karen in death are her mother, Jacqueline June Kubb and father, Houston Lee Hendley. Karen is survived by her niece, Lori Ann Fiebig, and nephew, Michael Lee Fiebig. Karen requested a cremation with a small family service. Special thanks to Sunrise of Dublin, for taking such good care of her in her last year of life.
Karen was a lover of animals. We know that she was gladly reunited with many of her previous cats and dogs, in heaven. We will always remember her, for her love of cookies and diet coke, as well. May she rest easy, in the glory of the Lord, for eternity.
