Lawrence Fields, age 77, of 897 Morning St., Worthington. Died Thursday in Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Retired from Jeffrey Mfg. Co. Former employee of the Potter Lumber Co. Survived by wife, Viola; sons, William A. Fields and Lawrence Payne Fields; daughters, Elizabeth Reynolds all of Worthington, Margaret Ann Fields, Toledo, Mary Frances Fields at home; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Elias Fields, Columbus, sister, Minerva Vaughn, Worthington; 3 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. Member of St. John's A.M.E. Church, 682 Plymouth St., Worthington, where service will be held Monday 11:30 a.m. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
