Lella V. Pinney, age 83, Worthington, Tuesday, April 21, 1987, Friendship Village of Dublin. Preceded in death by husband; Abner E. Pinney. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Abner N. and Judith Penney, Worthington; grandson; Michael Abner Pinney; step-grandchildren; Edward L. Johnston and Cindy Diamond; step-great-grandchildren and sister, Clair Anna McClung, Spencer, WV; several nieces and nephews. Member of Worthington United Presbyterian Church and Woodrow Guild, Charter member, Worthington Historical Society, Study Group No. 1, PEO. Chapter Cu, Worthington Womens' Club and Salvation Army Womens' Auxiliary. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Saturday, Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington, where family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Dr. George E. Parkinson and Rev. Thomas Armstrong Hart officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Worthington United Presbyterian Church.
