Obituary

Lowell P. Chitwood, age 86, of Orchard Island, Russells Point, former resident of Minerva Park area. Died at 12 noon Thursday, April 27, 1989, following an auto accident. He was a retired roofer. Member of Roofers Local No. 86, Columbus and Westerville Chapter of Knights of Pythias. Preceded in death by wife Leah A. Bosley on April 26, 1984. Survived by son, LeRoy F. Chitwood, Pt. Clinton, Oh.; daughter, Mrs. John (Mary Ellen) Chaney, Indian Lake, Oh.; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where service will be held Monday 1 p.m. Rev. John Ellington Jr. officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
