Major E. Lafler, age 79, of Columbus, Tuesday, March 13, 1990, Riverside Hospital. Retired truck driver. Preceded in death by wife Millicent. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, John and Eileen Lafler, 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Henry (Wilda) Cone of Akron, Oh., Mrs. Marvin (Wilma) Turned of Bradenton, Fla. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington, where friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
