Marianne Laws Chandler, age 50, 474 E. North St., Worthington, Sunday, University Hospital. Survived by husband, William E.; daughter, Shaczar N. Chandler, at home; parents, Mr. And Mrs. Virdre C. Laws, Dr.; sisters and brother-in-law, Mr. And Mrs. Ervin (Geneva) Colston, Virginia L. McCammon and Mr. And Mrs. Tommie (Ethel) Taylor, all of Worthington; brother, Vidre C. Laws, Jr. of Columbus; niece, 5 nephews; 2 great-nephews; host of relatives and friends. Member of St. John's AME Church, Assistance Cadette Girl Scout Leader and Sports Consultant. Member of St. John's AME Church Choir. Employee of the Swan Rubber Company and the F&R Lazarus Company. Service 3 p.m. Wednesday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Those who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society.
