Obituary

Mary Fern (Spaeth) France, age 86, longtime resident of Worthington, died May 16, 2009 at the Laurels of Worthington. Preceded in death by her husband Elba Verl France, brother Robert Spaeth, sister Pauline Dotters. Survived by sons, Tommy, Jimmy, Danny and Terry France; daughters, Carol Baldwin, Peggy Wielinski and Charolene Zeak; 23 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Eloise Perry and Drence Heacock; brother David Spaeth; many nieces and nephews. Mary ran an ironing business out of her home in Worthington for many years and loved to play bingo. She was the matriarch of the family and loved taking care of her grandchildren, even raised one grandchild, Julie France Ebenhack. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time.
