Max Leland Lowden, Wednesday, age 67 of 92 Overbrook. Husband of Margaret Oliver Lowden; father of Donald O. Lowden, 109 Westwood, John E. Lowden 4801 Heatherton Dr. and Richard M. Lowden of Santiago Dominican Republic, Mrs. Carl Galupo, 704 highland Dr., Mary Lowden, 2094 Neil Ave., Ruther Lowden, Marietta, Ohio; 9 grandchildren also survive. Member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. Retired Guard Lt. Of Timkin Roller Bearing Co. Owner of Lowden Grocery Store, High St., and Westwood from 1925-1945. Friends may call at the Weir-Arend Funeral Home, 4221 N. High Street, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held Friday 1 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
