Melvin A. Phillips, age 65, Fredericktown, Ohio, formerly of 119 East Kanawha Avenue, Wednesday, Riverside Hospital. Retired from NAPA. Preceded in death by wife, Grayce Eva. Survived by brother, Thomas A. Phillips, Worthington; sister, Mrs. Ruth P. Gabel, Worthington; several nieces and nephews. Attended Linworth United Methodist Church. Member of Power Squadron Fredericktown Sportsman's Club. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Saturday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Reverend Benjamin Edwards officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
