Obituary

Okla Deming Brooks, age 90, of 12 E. Stafford Ave., Worthington, died Friday at Riverside Hospital. Widow of Hugh M. Brooks. Survived by son, Willis Riley Deming, of Oakland, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. Ivan (Mary Elizabeth) Combe, of Greenwich, Conn.; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, S. William Riley, of Clearwater, Fla. She was one of the founders of the Columbus Chapter of The Association of Interior Decorators. Former member of D.A.R. Member of Ohio Northern Chapter of the American Association of University Women. Graduate of Ohio Northern University. Active as an interior decorator in Columbus since 1929. Memorial service 2 p.m. Sunday at the Worthington United Methodist Church. Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Interment later Walter Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the residence after the memorial service Sunday. Arrangements by the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington.
