SUNDERLAND Raymond Edward Sunderland, age 84, of Worthington, died peacefully on Sunday July 22, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. Retired from ABB as a Machinist after 30+ years of service. Member of Orange Road Friends Church and the Friday Night Live Bowling League. Graduate of Worthington High School, Class of 1946. Veteran U.S. Army, Korea. Preceded in death by wife Donna J. Sunderland, parents George E. and Nora M. Sunderland, brother Willis W. Sunderland. Survived by wife of 33 years, Zella M. Sunderland; children, Linda (Rudie "Bud") Yocum, Randall (Denise) Sunderland, Curtis (Elizabeth Cunningham) Sunderland of Helena, AL; step-son, Drew Rife; grandchildren, Shannon, Stacia, Ryan, AJ, Alicia, Jennifer, Chris and Billy; sister, Marie O'Brien; seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor David Mabry Officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to Mt. Carmel Hospice or the Haven Of Hope Cancer Foundation in Ray's memory.
