Obituary

Slupe Robert E. "Sloopey" Slupe, age 85, of Worthington, passed away March 17, 2015 at The Laurels of Worthington. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired Columbus Firefighter, which was his honorable life each day. He was a South High School graduate, owner/operator of R.E. Slupe Company and worked for A. B. Dick and Thompson Company. Member of Linworth United Methodist Church, International Firefighters and New England Masonic Lodge. Survived by children, Peggy Stoer, Terry (Mike) Waugh, Lori (Brian) McGee; grandchildren, Jenny, Amy, Robert, Katie, Margaret "Maggi"; great-grandchildren, Jack, Max, Bailey, Karlie, Thomas, Hadley. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
