Roderick S. Trippett, age 76, of 40 E. Kanawha, Thursday at Norworth Convalescent Center. Retired machinist, Penn Central Railroad. Member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by daughter, Jean. Survived by wife, Virginia E. Trippett; sons, Thomas, of Galena, Ohio, Willia, Memphis, Tenn. And Jim, of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Leland A. Trippett, Greencastle, Ind. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, NORTH CHAPEL, 4341 N. High St., where friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
