Rodney James Koenig, age 67, of Worthington. Wednesday, May 13, 1992, Riverside Hospital. Chemical Engineer, retired from Ohio Department of Transportation. Preceded in death by parents Fred and Elizabeth Koenig. Survived by wife, Hilda; son, Mark J. Koenig; daughter, Mrs. Lester (Sherri) Stuewer Jr. of Houston, Tex.; granddaughters, Erin and Kerry Stuewer; brother, Robert (Joan) Koenig; sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Betty) Nentwich and Dixie Koenig; sister-in-law, Grace Gruner. Member and past Master, York Lodge, No. 563 F&AM, Valley of Columbus, AASR, Downtown High Twelve, Columbus Maennerchor. Veteran of WWII. Graduate of Ohio State University and a member of the ushering crew at Ohio Stadium for 40 years. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Robert K. Chiles officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Ohio Masonic Home Endowment Fund.
