Vera W. Matheny, of 5155 N. High St., formerly 167 Amazon Pl., Saturday at Wesley Glen. Retired school tracher, Columbus and lancaster Public Schools. Survived by husband Carlos W. Matheny; an aunt and several cousins. Member of the Indianola United Methodist Church, Past matron of University Chapter OES, member of Clintonville Women's Club. Services 11 a.m. Tuesday Rutherford Chapel, 2383 N. High St. Rev. Russell Sawmiller officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to funeral services. Family requests omission of flowers.
