Obituary

Vernon F. Petry, age 72, of Worthington, Ohio, Monday, January 2, 1984 at home. Retired conductor for Penn Central Railroad after 32 years of service. Survived by wife, Faye, of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Vernon F. and Frieda Petry, Galena, Ohio; daughter, Audrey Petry, Columbus; grandsons, Mark, Greg, and Dale; sisters, Alpha Armstrong and Mildred Rainsberg; many nieces and nephews. Member of Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Second and Summit Senior Center, North United Methodist Church. Funeral service 1 p.m. Thursday, January 5, Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Ray Hughes officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
