ALTHAUSER Walter J. Althauser, age 94, of Westerville, OH, Saturday, September 2, 2006 at home. Retired from Columbia Gas. Attended Capital University. Member of Grace Lutheran Church and Westerville Senior Center. Survived by sons, Derrell L. (Bonnie) Althauser of Westerville and Pastor Michael P. (Sue) Althauser of Anna, OH; grandchildren, Leigh Althauser, Sherri Taylor, Kristian (Heather) Althauser and Angela Althauser; great grandchildren, Brittany and Samantha Taylor, Bailey and Bethany Althauser; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wives Nellie and Galdys, parents Elizabeth and Jacob Althauser, sisters Esther Boehm, Marie Schott and Ethel Althauser, brother Clarence Althauser. Friends may call at THE MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 100 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday at 10 a.m. Pastor William Hartfelder officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington.
