Walter T. Meier, age 70, of Powell, Ohio, Wednesday, February 16, 1994 at home. Retired Sales Manager for Durkee Foods. Survived by wife, Joan Merrill Meier; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Jan Meier of Grand Rapids, Mich., Don and Sue Meier of Worthington; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Tom Wilson of Herndon, Va.; daughter, Nancy Patton of Dublin, Oh.; 5 grandchildren. Pat President of CMRA. Member of the Old North Hi Club. Graduate of Ohio State University. Veteran of WWII, US Army. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Saturday, Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. G. A. Haubrich officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Contributions may be made to a preferred charity.
