Williamette M. Darby, age 83, 686 Morning Street, Worthington. Died Saturday Riverside Hospital. Survived by husband, Porter J. Darby; daughters, Mrs. Roberta E. Rosenberg of Palo Alto, California, Mrs. Shirley Ann Helms of Athens, Georgia; grandsons, Galen Rosenberg of Palo Alto; Tad Helms of Athens, Georgia; granddaughters, Katie Helms and Maggie Helms, both of Palo Alto. Life long member and first woman elder of Worthington United Presbyterian Church. Charter member and past president of American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 239. Member of Worthington Historical Society and many other civic and school organizations. Service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Charles Robinson officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #339 Building Fund.
