William Glenn Parton, age 69, of Hilliard, Sunday, March 19, 2000 at his home with family and friends by his side. Member of Presbyterian Church, Hilliard American Legion Post #614, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4931, Moose Lodge #2236. Preceded in death by parents and special uncle Glenn Reisdorf. Survived by loving wife, Mae Parton; children, David Parton, Joyce Johnson, Master Sergeant USAF Douglas (Marie) Parton, Jan (Kurt) Hansen; grandchildren, Misty, Amy and Cathy Parton, Mandy and Owen Johnson, Jessica, Erica and Corey Parton, Elisha, Megan, Jacob, Nathan, Mandy II, Michael, Cameron, Gabriel, Jeremiah and Cheyenna Hansen; great-granddaughter, Shian Carter; brothers and sisters, Betty Atkinson, Jack Parton, Jim Parton, Donna Reiley; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and a host of friends. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Jim Browne officiating.
