Obituary

MASSIE Wilma A. Massie, age 87, of Memphis, TN, died October 20, 2005 after a brief illness at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Stewart, OH and lived in Columbus before moving to FL where she retired from Woolworths Department store. She worked as a volunteer at Jess Parish Hospital for the next 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Massie, and her son Carlos M. Lytle. She leaves a sister, Dorothy Thomas; 2 sons, William L. Lytle and Robert W. Massie; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH, where friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
