Irene Ware Scatterday, age 83, of Westerville, Thursday, May 7, 1992, Bayshore Community Hospital, Matawan, New Jersey. Member of Church if the Messiah United Methodist, Westerville. Survived by husband, Dr. Henry Scatterday; daughter, Jane Papin of Matawan, New Jersey; son, Dr. James Scatterday of Geneseo, New York; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Schurtz, Covington, Louisiana. NO VISITATION> Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 1992 at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville. Rev. Donald Pfeifer of Waverly officiating. Private Interment.
