Survived by wife, Gertrude; daughters, Linda and Denis, both at home; brother, James K. Spielman, Toledo, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Clayton (Vivian) Apple, Johnstown, Pa., Mrs. Forest (Emma Lou) Bell, St. Croix, Virgin Islands; several nieces and nephews. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Veteran of World War II. Special agent for the U.S. Army Intelligence. Member of Public Relations Society of America, Past Vice President of Ohio Insurance Institute. Staff writer Johnstown Tribune Democrat for 20 years. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, Rev. Edge Dixon officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
