Worthington Female Seminary Building
Basic details
Background
This photograph depicts the Worthington Female Seminary building while men are working to convert it into apartments. The building had many uses following the closing of the Seminary. The Ohio Central Normal School occupied the building until 1881. It then became a residential hotel, a sanitarium and finally apartments in 1920.
The converted Model T Truck was property of Herbert Worthington Griswold, great grandson of Worthington founder, Ezra Griswold.
