Background
Members of the community search for good buys on used books at the second annual Friends of the Library book sale. Materials available for purchase included books, records, sheet music, puzzles, and stamp albums priced 10 cents and up. The Friends of the Library was established in 1972 and began holding book sales that fall. The tradition continues today.
